Back

Not the summer I planned! After breaking my right leg at about 120mph during qualifying for the Superstock 600 series at World superbikes Donington Park it has been a slow road to recovery. It was a new experience breaking a bone but the team at QMC in Nottingham did a great job and since then I have received physio therapy and I am now towards the end of my recovery and hope to be back riding sooner rather than later.

It has been difficult watching all the racing over the summer through the TV and then to find out that I still haven’t fully recovered and will have to wait at least another 6 weeks was really disappointing however the injury could have been much worse as it was rare for someone to brake their femur (thigh bone) without other serious injury.

I am now looking to the future and with the bike ready and waiting it is only a matter of time before I am back out there.
